Autumn Salon

The Autumnal Medicine salon will focus on creating strength and health for ourselves in this season of the Metal phase. Early Autumn is a time of harvesting and celebrating our Summer bounty, and mid to late Autumn are focused on contracting and beginning the focus inward. During this time of year, our body’s Qi pulls inward and prepares for the storage phase of winter. The Fall is a phase of rapid change and transition in many respects, one where if we stay fluid and flexible, we can successfully navigate the transition with ease. Translating and teaching these autumnal phases through the lens of Chinese medicine, Jennifer Watkins will teach practical and useful tips using food, herbs, and lifestyle suggestions to care for ourselves during this season. There will be a Q&A portion to the salon so please feel free to contribute to the discussion.

Offered online via Zoom.
