HOSTED BY Jenn Watkins
The Winter Medicine salon will focus on maintaining health and vitality for ourselves in this winter season, the phase of water. Winter is the season in which our body’s Qi is at its deepest, most inward place, and prepares us for the seasons ahead. It's a time to practice and celebrate storage and protection of our Qi and nourishment. The Winter is a phase of preparation for transition in many respects, one where if we stay stable and nourished, we can successfully prepare for the growth and transition of the Spring and Summer with ease. Translating and teaching the seasonal phases through the lens of Chinese medicine, Jennifer Watkins will teach practical and useful tips using food, herbs, and lifestyle suggestions to care for ourselves during this season. There will be a Q&A portion to the salon so please feel free to contribute to the discussion.
Exchange: $25. Hosted Sunday, December 27th, 1-2 PM
